The congress is about to pass another 26 billion dollar bail out for the state governments. All but two of the state governments are perilously close to, or are already, bankrupt just like the Federal government, and are in dire need of budgetary restraint; so this bail out will give their irresponsible fiscal policies a new lease on life. The State of Colorado is one billion dollars in debt and doesn’t have the money to pay the bill unless they substantially increase your taxes to cover their foolish spending, or cut government waste and do the responsible thing.

This time the congress is going to pay for its most recent boondoggle by taxing any company or business for any job where they employ a foreign worker. This ill-conceived scheme will punish any foreign or domestic employer. So companies like Mercedes, BMW, Volvo, Ford, Wal-Mart, will be punished and forced to consider moving their entire operation to foreign shores to keep solvent and avoid this punitive tax. Companies who just trade with the US under our free trade policies will not be punished.

This kind of in your face tax shows that politicians and bureaucrats have no idea how businesses work. Businesses are answerable to their stock holders and will be forced to avoid this tax and start to relocate their corporate operations to countries where there is a friendly, favorable atmosphere towards business. IT’S TOUGH BEING A KID FOR EVERGREEN COLORADO REAL ESTATE YOUNGER HOMEOWNERS.

I am a Baby Boomer, born in 1949, and my wife and I are seriously thinking about retiring in the next 5 to 10 years. I got to thinking about my retirement income and part of our income would be Social Security. So let’s take a look at the Security part of Social Security. The politicians and their bureaucrats have stolen all, yes all, of the money in the Social Security trust fund. That means that the American people must pay Social Security twice – once when we originally invested and again to pay back the fund the money congress and the various presidents in the last 50 years have stolen.

Since my working life is coming to an end I will need the 20, 30, 40, 50 something generations to pay their SSI contributions and make up all the taxes the Baby Boomer’s paid in and lost to congressional thievery. This at a time when 75 million Boomers are going to stop working, stop paying taxes, stop investing in 401k and start depleting this source of capitol, and start drawing on SSI, Medicaid, and Medicare, and working hard in politics to keep the gravy train flowing while the kids are all out working 24/7.

The Security for my retirement is not the good faith and credit of the United States of America. The President, the Congress, and bureaucrats have destroyed the credit of the US and bankrupted the country. No, my security is the income of the younger Americans who are still in the work force. My retirement will be funded by the government taking away the money they need to save for college or their own retirement, taxing away their discretionary income, taxing away their vacation, taxing away the down payment for their home, taxing away the capital gains on their successful investments, taxing away the profits of their small businesses, taxing away all their labor for their entire working life so that I can live the good life. My retirement security is the financial enslavement of my children and grand children – welcome to liberal, progressive America. Socialism at it’s finest – every younger man and women working hard to support me.

Wake up youth of America – stop voting for the Obama’s of the world and let’s get the fiscal conservatives in power to get the tax crushing Federal government off your backs. If you keep voting for democratic and republican liberals you will deserve what you get.

It is becoming clearer and clearer by the day that both the Federal and State governments are broke. The irresponsible and wanton spending of the American governments has driven the American people into bankruptcy. Corporations, businesses, and American individuals are at the tax saturation point and the revenue well has gone dry.

                          

The senior’s Medicare program and Social Security benefits, which is funded mainly by a payroll tax, is in deep trouble because the number of taxpayers per baby boomer senior will no longer be able to fund the huge number of participating enrollees. The 20, 30, 40, and even 50 something generation has reached the point of critical mass where the salaries are no longer able to support them and the seniors as well. Furthermore, congress has never established a lock-box for the SSI and Medicare funds so the money you paid in will need to be paid twice: once when we tax your income and then again to pay off the IOU’s that congress and the president gave us when they stole the money and spent your retirement and health care on pork barrel projects and big bank bailouts.

 

It’s time that every sane person realizes that if we don’t seriously cut federal and state government bureaucracy by 80% or so and get control of the republican and democratic politicians, then you will need to fund your own retirement. Social Security and Medicare is already bankrupt because any surplus is already spent – there is nothing there except the federal and state government’s promises to pay. If you need $40,000 to live during your retirement years then you will need $2,000,000 in tax free interest cash to support yourself at today’s interest rates. Please, don’t forget that if your 2 million is in a 401k your will be taxed double because a 401k is tax deferred and not tax free. In you senior years you will need to pay your deferred tax on you principal 401k amount and additional taxes on any interest, dividend, or stock sale. Wake up America your politicians and bureaucrats have squandered you Social Security inheritance and if you are relying on SSI and Medicare – you too are bankrupt.
