A 190 billion dollar boondoggle is before congress this week. They are calling it a job stimulus bill but it is just another congressional give away that will kill jobs and depress business stability and expansion. The bill will add new taxes to small businesses who file under an “S” corporation raising their income taxes, their payroll taxes, and their dividend taxes to an average rate of 50%

 

US multinational corporate taxes will increase on their overseas income which will force layoffs here in America and force these corporations to start new corporations and subsidiaries in other countries where businesses and jobs are welcome.

 

The taxes on venture capital partnerships will increase from 15% to 35% at a time when the economy is cash poor and suffering from a liquidity crisis. New companies, funded by Venture capitalists, are the juggernaut that propelled companies like Apple, Google, Home Depot and all other start ups into the job creating income producing giants that they are today. THE PARADOX OF LIFE FOR EVERGREEN COLORADO REAL ESTATE

 

We have all experienced the paradoxes of life. A paradox is a seeming contradiction where something would seem to not be a benefit to us but on further analysis it actually is. For example, the truism that it is better to give than to receive is a paradox.

 

Today we are hell bent on creating a social welfare state, which historically leads to a totalitarian state. We think that if the government can take away all the risks in life and provide us a cradle to grave living; then a social state is fine with me. We continue to believe that some phantom rich company or wealthy man or women will pay the bill.

 

We never learn that no matter what any politician tells us, the fact is we will not get free health care we will pay to provide it for someone else, we will not get a retirement form social security but we will pay for someone else, our children and grand children will not get a free college education but we will pay for someone else. When will we ever learn? When will the evidence persuade us instead of some unrealistic promise from a politician who never once paid for his or her own health care or even their own tuition?

 

The paradox is if we reject socialism and cut government down to the bare necessities then we can lower taxes to almost nothing. Then the economy will boom beyond belief and everyone will prosper. Everyone will have plenty to save for retirement, everyone will be able to afford their children’s college education, and every employer will be able to afford health care. Your happiness and financial security will be your own and you will not be dependent on some totally incompetent bureaucrat or politician to pay your grocery bill. In short, you will be free.
