FORECLOSURES SOAR IN COLORADO AS ECONOMY SLIPS FURTHER INTO DECLINE FOR REAL ESTATE EVERGREEN COLORADO
The foreclosure rate increased 6.5 % in Colorado in February as the moratorium on foreclosures of Fannie and Freddie mortgages expired. Jefferson County was up over 20% and the problem in Jeffco was compounded with real estate tax increase by the county bureaucrats. But the larger problem is that our economy is slipping further into decline and there are no solutions on the horizon.
In a pivotal election year there are no new ideas coming out of either the democrat or republican camps and if we don’t take action to revitalize our economy there are going to be many more foreclosures and bankruptcies.
