When investor can’t earn a fair return on their investment they are forced into more risky investment like mortgage credit swaps just to keep up with inflation. These mortgage securities were marketed by Fannie and Freddie, both government institution, and when they collapsed the stock and bond markets, they turned citizens earned equity into losses and eviscerated American 401(k) retirement accounts. The Fannie and Freddie fiasco burst the Real Estate bubble, created by government fiat money, wiping out the equity many American families had in their homes. The result of all these government policies is that the wealth American’s had in their homes was transferred to the banks or just lost. Home equity was the asset most senior Americans were relying on for their retirement. Before the Fannie and Freddie bust, home equity was the nest egg that many Baby Boomers depended on to see them through their twilight years.

Now, earning cash on your savings or even maintaining the buying value of your cash savings has become an impossible task. The government has become your number one financial enemy secretly siphoning off all your assets and forcing seniors to keep working well into their retirement years.

The opulent bureaucracy is crushing all the investment markets by engendering and promoting trillion dollar deficit spending. The government elite, with the help of the Federal Reserve, have morphed the U.S. And

The whole economic system from the oval office down to the most modest home has its foundation built on debt. Our money is created by creating debt. Since our economy, and every economy in the entire global market, is based on debt we need to continually loan money out to supply the cash or currency to keep our economy running. The major problem is, of course, that the government should create the money and profit from the interest not the Federal Reserve.

 

The booming housing market of a few years ago created all the money the economy needed to support itself. When the greed of the big banks and the Wall Street Bonus Barons destroyed the home mortgage market, it left a huge vacuum in the money supply. This vacuum must be filled if the economy is to return. The Obama administration and the Republican leadership don’t seem to be able to comprehend the problem and therefore can’t comprehend the solution.
