The etymology of the word academia comes form the Greek word akademeia which means garden. It was in the garden of the goddess of wisdom Athena that Plato conversed with other philosophers. These sessions were to establish knowledge, and its development and dissemination to the new generations. Knowledge means facts, information, and skills acquired through real life experiences or education. Today academia has degenerated into politically correct nonsense and bigoted diversity which intellectually persecutes rational scholars who rely on facts and evidence to establish knowledge, not whimsical absurdities based on fallacies and malarkey.

Research and academic scholarship has been replaced with pseudo science based on the accepted norm. Stringent scrutiny and hard facts are ignored. Take evolution, for an example. There is absolutely, positively no evidence whatsoever that evolution is true; yet if anyone so much as question this absurd theory they are drummed out of academia and alienated from scholastic careers. Yet the hard evidence of DNA has refuted the fallacious belief that life could have evolved out of chaos and helter skelter. The amount of information and decision making ability a single cell contains would be equivalent to a microprocessor with a basic machine code of thousands of instructions. To continue to teach that all life evolved out of space rocks defies the evidence and ignores the facts.

Now take the liberal progressive political travesty subscribed to by today’s academia. It is founded on socialism and central control of the entire social life of the citizens. It has failed over and over again. It failed in Russia, in China, in Germany and is failing today in Venezuela, Cuba, and Western Europe; it is failing in America but the intellectually struggling academia still espouses this political and economic megaflop. All of Western civilization is failing, their economies and their modern culture is bankrupt, they are morally destitute, and intellectually impoverished.

The great Enlightenment of the 17th and 18th centuries founded on reason, common sense, human nature, and individual rights has been replaced by a dimwitted movement based on shallow intellects, lack of critical thinking, ignorance of the facts and evidence, and blind acceptance of obvious fallacies. Any intellectual acumen modern academic once had, they have been educated out of; even the IQ they had has been sacrificed on the altar of conformity to folly. This practice of persecuting the true scholar, demanding conformity to the status quo, the contempt for evidence, the hatred of the new and the innovative, and the fear of testing ideas in the crucible of experience and reality has corrupted the pursuit of truth in the ivy walled structures of todays academic prisons.

With the death of absolutes and the birth of relativism every opinion has become a fact and all spurious reasoning a new concept. Scholars are wandering around befuddled looking for a sound starting place but finding none. People who refuse to believe in something will be duped into believing anything. We are impaled on a haphazard culture of whimsey and fancy that is destroying the wisdom of the ages and killing true scholarship.
