We need to cut the salaries of people like Ward Churchill who made well over $100k a year to teach three classes a week. Bureaucratic managers are the highest paid in the state because their salaries are not tied to income, or productivity, or customer satisfaction. Government employees should receive a 401k plan like the rest of society instead of a retirement like PERA, which,, of course is run by the government and is going broke.

Elected officials should receive no benefits or retirement at all so that we are not saddled down with lifetime politicians who vote themselves golden benefit packages. The big government is dying because we the people can no longer afford it. Like Wallmart it’s time to ROLL BACK the costs of our bloated government.
