Up until very recently the debt in industrialized nations has hovered around 5% of the global GDP (Gross Domestic Product) but now the figure is 40%. That means that 40%of everything produced has already been spent and if a country can’t pay off their debt, like the US, then they need to spend even more money in interest. The US is scheduled to have an 88% of GDP debt by 2020 unless something is done.

 

If something is not done, American will die from the burden of government debt. But what can be done. Political discipline, deep spending cuts, and fiscal responsibility seem to be beyond our political will. The only alternative, in the short run, is to inflate our dollar; so Congresses can pay its debt and keep spending borrowed money with a discounted currency. In other words, the buying power of the dollar will have to decrease 100% in ten years just to survive. But eventually this also means that Congress needs to stop spending money. This will not happen.

 

So we can postpone the inevitable by hyper-inflation or become fiscally responsible – an option the Obama administration will not exercise. And of course, its not just America but most of the countries worldwide that will fall. The problems in Greece and Dubai are not as critical as the debt problems in the US. America owes China two to two and a half trillion dollars and the amount grows every second – twenty four seven. Did you ever take a minute to reflect how it is that the greatest representative democratic capitalistic society that ever existed owes 2 ½ trillion dollars to a communists regime who executes dissenters and enslaves people for the slightest political disagreement: whether real or imagined? As our banker, what is China doing to insure that you pay them what you owe.

This repressive socialistic creditor is forcing a new currency on the world markets that will prevent Uncle Sam from paying back our debt with inflated dollars: a practice our government is known for. In short, the Chinese will not accept dollars whose buying power has been eroded by US deficit policy. They want the International Monetary Fund to create a new global currency called SDR (Special Drawing Rights), which will set firm standard for global exchanges. So if the dollar loses 20% of its value, like it has done this year, then American would have to purchase 20% more SDR’s to pay the Chinese back. This debt of course is your debt, your children’s debt, and your grand children’s debt. It’s time we all got serious about dismantling the local, state, and federal governments before we are enslaved by our creditors.

The State of Colorado’s constitution includes the TABOR (Tax Payers Bill of Rights) amendment. The amendment represents the will of the people of Colorado. They knew that by limiting the amount of revenue the State could extract from its citizens they would effectively limit the State’s wanton spending. The Constitution allows for tax increase but only with the approval of the State taxpayers in a statewide election. Now, the Ritter government is breaking the law by raising taxes without the authority of the citizens; it is something expressly forbidden by state law.

 

In short the Ritter Administration is breaking the law and embezzling money from a beleaguered and tax weary electorate. Colorado has one of the highest foreclosure rates and citizens are hurting. The state, in all their arrogance, is not taxing the fat in the Colorado economy but the muscle – muscle we need to work our way out of this government caused recession. It’s time to start arresting politicians for breaking Colorado State Constitutional law. If the bureaucrats do not abide by the law how can we expect the citizenry to obey the laws? 

 

Colorado State Attorney, Colorado State Supreme Court Justices, Colorado Secretary of State please, please, please enforce the law. You all took an oath to enforce the laws and the constitution – now live by that oath.

It only seems natural that if we invest our tax money in government we should reasonably expect a profitable return on our investment. Instead of being a constant drain on our finances we should reap a generous benefit from supporting government and government employees. Just like every other investment you make in life if the investment is a loser and has no prospects of improving the proverbial “wise and prudent” man or women should take their capital elsewhere. If, for example, our education system is ineffective we should demand that we can get a voucher and take our money to a private school where even an average student will get a superior education. If the Federal Reserve constantly destroys the American economy and runs the Federal government into massive private debt we should be able to keep our investment banking dollars in our state like the citizens of North Dakota who have a two billion dollar surplus while all the other 49 states are close to or in bankruptcy.

 

If health care will not work we should be able to start a totally independent health care industry totally separate from the government and the insurance industry where supply and demand determines the costs. The list could go on and on but the point is we need to have alternatives to the failed government programs. We need to start measuring all government activities by cost versus benefit analysis and have viable private or state alternatives if the system is broke. Then we should opt out of sending our tax dollars to the Federal Government and use our money to buy a successful alternative. To keep paying the government to fail is sheer idiocy.

 

Right now we are trying our hardest to out spend the American Economy. If we succeed, we will only drive ourselves further into national bankruptcy.
