WIND FARMS CREATING VISUAL POLUTION IN COLORADO
Huerfano County in Southern Colorado is the latest community that is rejecting the horrible eyesore created by wind farms. These monstrosities are not quaint Dutch Wind mills but huge eye sores that produce little energy and the energy they do produce is lost in transporting it to the market where it is needed.
My advise is to build all the wind farms on the east and west coast where all the proponents come from and let them take in the environmentally correct views themselves. These wind farms are also going broke and then there is the problem of removing these awful things from the landscape. These big companies build wind farms and cash in on the huge subsidies from the taxpayers but as soon as they need to make a profit on their own they take the grant money and disappear over the destroyed horizon.
Like Global warming let’s let the science answer the questions not the emotions; and science says there is no real dependable energy and no profits to be made in wind farming. To paraphrase the Bible if you sow a wind farm you will only reap the wind not energy.
