VANITY AND BUILT-IN CABINETS IN EVERGREEN COLORADO
Although the kitchen receives much of the attention in the construction process, there are several other places that cabinetry is important. Each bath room, the laundry room, and the master bedroom closets are also areas where cabinets are installed. We usually have two to four bath rooms in Evergreen Colorado homes. The size of the bath rooms often will determine how the vanities will lay out. Most bath rooms have a straight, in line, arrangement with one or perhaps two sinks sitting side by side. Bath rooms are a critical work room in a home, and convenience and practicality are major considerations. Each day 2, 4, or 6 people must use these rooms at a time when all are on a schedule. So if the kids, and Mom and Dad, can share a bath room during the daily early mourning regiment everything goes much smoother.
The hallway bath in the bedroom area often has a “Jack and Jill” set up where the sink is separated from the tub and toilet by a doorway. In this way one child can brush their teeth, or dry their hair, while the other toilets or showers. The master bath is designed around the same concept, so that two can be using the bath at the same time, without violating the others privacy. The master walk in closet is another place where many homes use cabinetry. Cabinets are installed either as a center island in the closet, or along one wall. This is a place to neatly store sweaters, purses, shoes, linens for the master bed, and clothing accessories. The cabinets have a counter top with a 4 way plug close by to charge any phones, lap tops, etc., and built in custom shelving to accommodate the taste of the owners.
