DEATH RIDES A PALE HORSE FOR EVERGREEN COLORADO REAL ESTATE STATISTICS

In the book of Revelation the Lamb of God (Jesus Christ) opens the seven seals that loosen the four horseman of the Apocalypse. The fourth horsemen rides the Pale Horse; “I looked and there before me was a Pale Horse! Its rider was Death, and Hell followed close behind him.” (Rev 6:8) The translation of Pale is a greenish-yellow sickly or putrid color signifying sickness, infection, and disease. Often fiery preachers, literary writers and artists unite the horseman of death with the son of man, who reaps the harvest of humanity with the sickle of death in Revelation 14 verse 15, and symbolize death as the Grim Reaper. The Grim Reaper has been dispatched and his pale horse is coming for you and for me. He may be at a full gallop or he may be slowly clip-clopping along but make no mistake about it your name and my name are in his clip board.

Another fact we should be aware of is that the death rate in America is relatively high. About 8.3 Americans out of every 1000 will die this year. In most Arab countries the death rate is only 3 or 4 per 1000; China is seven per, while the war torn central African nation of Sudan is 11 just a little higher than in the U.S. Apparently our wonderful health care system is not perfect and our life style is not conducive to long life. Although many countries are higher than America we are certainly merely average in avoiding the Grim Reaper’s scythe.

The death rate per year in America is truly 8.3 per thousand but the death rate itself is 100 percent. Eventually the Grim Reaper catches up with us all; yet Americans don’t seem to grasp the reality of this final statistic. We live as though there is no death; we avoid looking on death; we seldom allow our elderly parents or grandparents to die at home where our children can come to grips with the finality of earthly life; and while movies and TV shows capitalize on blood and death, we have become anesthetized to the finality of our lives.

We need to remember that Hell followed the horsemen of death; pointing towards an eternal life beyond physical death. Our society choses to ignore the eternal quality that indwells the human soul. We satisfy our sense of justice by condemning evil dictators, murderers, and mass killers to eternal damnation but blithely forgive ourselves for every sin and indiscretion in our lives. Justice truly is blind when we judge ourselves, but rather harsh when we pass judgement on those who have hurt us. Today America has become an immoral country. Every activity condemned by every religion on earth has become common place in our society.

We have encouraged young adult to commit adultery in thought, word and deed; we, as a people, have butchered 70 million unborn and just born children; our governments, at every level, routinely steal you income and squander it away on their own self indulgence; our courts make up laws that never existed; we adamantly refuse to teach any charitable moral code in our schools while viciously humiliating any student whose parents have taught their children right from wrong; we attack other countries and kill their citizens indiscriminately; we borrow and counterfeit vast sums of money to indulge ourselves; we have even enslaved our children in debt with no thought or compassion for their hopes and dreams; and we have denied ourselves and our children the truth about death, hell, and the grave.

The simple truth is that there is victory over death. Our founding fathers and mothers understood this truth and translated it into a viable constitution whose preamble acknowledged that life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness in this life are a gift from our creator They knew these truths were “Self evident” and that this life is just a trial and test to see if, through faith in your creator, He will extend these same gifts of life, liberty, and happiness to the next life-the eternal life.

This culture we have created denies and demonizes any sincere pursuit of eternal life. If you live as if there is an everlasting tomorrow; if you order your life according to God’s word-the Bible of our founding Fathers; if you trust in your creator for eternal salvation; if you live serving others and not merely yourself then society will suppress you, ridicule you, and marginalize you; but in the end Hell will not follow your death, but your death will be swallowed up in victory: eternal life with God.

It’s time to return to good old fashioned American ingenuity and thriftiness, and use what resources you have left to protect yourself and your financial future from the government.
