They have even intimidated the Colorado Supreme Court into backing down on enforcing the State laws – not that this court is ever concerned with the will of the people as represented by their laws and constitution.
Huge crowds are showing up at city council meeting in Colorado Springs demanding marijuana stores throughout the city. Most of the people in the crowd don’t look like they are suffering from chronic pain! I believe this is another strong push to legalize all drugs. The argument is that we will take away the power of the criminals by destroying their cash machine and force Columbian drug lords to go get real jobs. We will stop the anarchy on our southern borders where again the government is proving its inability to do anything right.
It will be interesting to see how long it will take for the government to completely capitulate and spurn the will of the people and their laws and give in to the drug producers. We could have a referendum so the people could speak. What a novel thought!
