Florida understands and is luring the rich to Florida with no estate taxes and no state tax. Even younger taxpayers are moving or establishing residence in these low tax states. Many advisors are even bolder and are advising their clients to move off shore to protect their assets from the greedy grasp of the government bureaucrats. Most wealthy folks like the Kennedy’s, and Rockefellers have already moved their money away from the clutches of the IRS. Now that old Teddy Kennedy is dead you will not hear that Hyannis Port must be sold to pay estate taxes, his money is all off shore. Only hard working folks like you pay high taxes.

 

Julie Garber, an Estate attorney, wrote in an article for About.com that half her clients have moved away from high tax areas. This concept that the rich will pay for all the deficit spending and all the health care is just wishful thinking. THE NEW GLOBAL CURRENCY AND THE VALUE OF EVERGREEN COLORADO REAL ESTATE

 

In the last two blogs we spoke about discounting and the insidiousness of government’s systematic plan to inflate the dollar. Today let’s talk about the reaction to the administrations carefully devised plan.

 

Many of the oil producing countries have refused to accept the dollar as payment for their oil. China is outraged at the Obama deficit spending and the Feds multi-trillion dollar spending debacle. The Chinese want the US to pay them the trillions we owe them with real money – not inflated money. They have consulted together with the international community and have devised a plan to escape the inflationary discounting of America while still allowing the US government to inflate away the wealth of the US citizen.

 

Their solution is a global currency, issued by the International Monetary Fund that will index every national currency to the IMF’s money and thereby require the US to pay its debts by adjusting the dollars upward until the Federal Reserve’s spiraling inflation is covered. It has been reported that at the last G20 summit in Pittsburgh the Obama administration has agreed to this plan.

 

This solution will allow the Government to deflate the dollar by 100% in the next ten years and thereby pay for health care with the currency value, or buying power, that is inflated away from the American citizen. This is the ultimate result of Keynesian economics. The new currency is the IMF’s SDR and you will be hearing much more about it in coming financial news. Know this for certain as the SDR’s value increases against the dollar your wealth, your dollars, and your buying power will be vanishing.

NATIONAL DEBT IS NOT PRODUCTIVE

 

The Obama Administration believes that we can spend our way into prosperity. They apparently feel that if they pump trillions of borrowed dollars into the economy, that the newly bought prosperity will make so much money, it can pay the money back in a few years!

 

This plan of action is only a theory. The theory has been tried multiple times, like in America during the FDR years and Japan in the 90’s, and it has never worked before. The assumption seems to be that the American government is a dynamic, productive enterprise and will, in the end, turn things around, and recreate all the wealth that has been lost. There is a systemic flaw in this approach – no government ever creates any wealth.

 

There are only three ways a government acquires money: by taxing it away from productive citizens, by borrowing it from productive citizens, or by printing it (a function which the US government gave away to the Federal Reserve, which is a private bank). No government ever produces anything; it only puts a burden on the productive private sector.

 

 In short, debt is not productive. The assumption that the private companies or wealthy individuals will pay back this massive debt is simply unrealistic. In a global market, productive people and productive companies will simply move their money and assets offshore. Many large moneyed interests have already done this. The Heinz Company, all the Kennedy fortune, the Rockefeller money has all been moved beyond the reach of Uncle Sam. It is not by accident that Senator Dodd has an estate in Ireland. Ireland has the lowest income and capital gains tax in the world, so Dodd is planning to tax you and avoid the taxes himself!
