Most years it would take me until middle to late February before I subconsciously write 2010 instead of 2009, but this year will be different. Everyone is anxious for 2010 to begin and jamb 2009 into the history books. It’s been a tough year but a turn around year for me. It took over two years but now I can clearly see that we will never return to the hot economy we had for most of the Bush years. I perceive that the world has not changed but our thinking has changed.

We are no longer looking to build a bountiful economy where good paying jobs and fair profits fuel our markets but we are all looking for government to supply all the needs that Mom and Dad use to supply. We are willing to open our check books and allow Uncle Sam to clean out our accounts in return for an empty promise of security. We no longer want to be the best at what we do we only want to be the highest paid. We are sending all our jobs, both manufacturing and professional, over seas in an effort to be some kind of a globally politically correct idiot, while none of our allies or enemies will reciprocate.

The current Administration has outlawed Common Sense and they think that a thriving economy is built on a foundation of heavy taxes, massive borrowing, and a multi trillion dollar printing machine. College and University students should realize that their future is in a government job because the private sector is being eaten alive by a hostile government who want to tax away not only profits but research and development costs. America has gone the way of the world and our lives will become enslaved to a political machine that is of the government, by the government, and for the government.
