It is another windfall for the bureaucratic oligarchy but when the taxpayers run out of funds all the jobs will dry up.

Obama and Biden and their administration’s staff are entirely government bureaucratic job holders with absolutely no real world experience, so they constantly try to do what they have always done – just spend more government money on more government bureaucracy. Since government produces no income on its own everything it produces is dead weight on the productive part of our society; because government produces nothing, every penny it spends must be either tax away from the working citizens, borrowed against the income of our grand children, of printed by the Federal Reserve with no value behind it.

This policy of legislating Stimulus bills not only doesn’t produce economic recovery and job creation, but it actually detracts from the ability of the private profitable sector, because the onerous tax and debt burden sucks the life out of private business. The heavy anchor of all government taxes and spending forces the productive private sector to cut jobs, hire sub-contractors instead of employees, out-source, and move operations to China or Mexico to avoid foolish government taxes, regulations, and user fees. Until we realize that government is not the solution but the problem we will remain stuck in a jobless recession with the only growth industry the bureaucracy which is crushing the American economy.

Last time we spoke about how the Real Estate industry creates the Real Estate market and today let’s talk about how the market is paid for. When a Real Estate company receives a fee it is split four ways. Let’s say the commission on a $216,000 home, which is the medium home price in America, is 6% or $12,960.00. One quarter or $3240.00 is paid to each of the procuring brokers. So the listing agent and the selling agent on average will receive $3240.00 each. Out of this they must pay for all their expenses like car, phone, yearly license and insurances, continuing education, web site, advertising, their part of franchising fees, MLS fees, cell phone and text equipment and monthly fees, 100 % of FICA tax (remember your employer pays half but an agent pay 100%), medical insurance, federal-state-local income tax, and supplies like signs, contracts, stationary, business cards etc. Expenses generally come to over 50% of the commission on the first 25 sale per year then the cost become a lower percentage as gross income rises. Of course, you tax bracket then starts to climb and cuts deeper and deeper into you income.

 

The Office for the buying and selling agent also receive $3240.00 each. Out of their percentage they need to pay commercial lease fees, commercial phone and utilities which are much more expensive than residential rates. The office décor and furniture must be paid for, secretaries, franchise fees, Real Estate Commission filings and storage for audits, book keeping for escrow accounts, salary for the managing Broker responsible to the State for all employed Brokers, the office web site, office advertising, accounting, taxes and name promotion. It usually takes between 50 and 75 transaction a year to start to make a profit.

Americans are quickly realizing that they are getting defrauded by the huge state and federal bureaucracy that our politicians have burdened us with. The crisis in the Gulf of Mexico has brought into sharp focus what we have learned over and over again: bureaucracies are useless monstrosities that accomplish nothing.

We have the Minerals Management Service, the EPA, the Bureau of the Interior, the Department of Energy, the Army corps of Engineers, the staff at the White House, Congressional and Senate hearings, the Coast Guard, Homeland security, and a dozen bureaucracies from Louisiana, Alabama, and now Florida and nobody is accomplishing anything. It would seem that if these bureaucracies are responsible for all the rules and regulations that they should be held accountable for not doing their job. If none of these organizations existed the gulf coast would be no better of worse off. I think it’s time to dismantle the bureaucracy and start over with a lean and mean government instead of a bloated, fat, lazy, ineffective oligarchy that costs billions and achieves nothing.

Then we could go on and unravel the Department of Education which has corrupted out education, eliminate the Department of the Treasury and the private Federal Reserve and replace it with a United States Bank, initiate a modest flat tax of 5% for local, state, and federal government, pass a balanced budget amendment, and get rid of the IRS, while remaking the Department of Immigration. Then watch our jobs return; our revenues increase and our freedoms protected. America will again be the hope of the world as it returns to a government of the people, by the people, and for the people – not of the bureaucrats, by the bureaucrats, and for the bureaucrats.

Here is a partial list of the companies that have already moved their corporate headquarters and major operations out of the country because of the ridiculous taxes and foolish regulations here in the US: Heinz ketchup ( while owned by John Kerry and his wife), the Kennedy estate, Halliburton who was a major US employer, Ingersoll-Rand, Accenture the worlds largest accounting firm, Foster-Wheeler one of the worlds largest engineering firms, Tyco International cutting edge medical and electrical technology, Cooper Industries a large copper producer, Noble Drilling the fourth largest off shore and natural gas driller in the world, Global Crossing the largest provider of IP solutions to the entire global markets, Seagate the 9th largest provider of hard drives to the worlds computer industries, Nabors Industries the largest onshore drilling company in the world, Garmin the worlds GPS provider, G E Healthcare, Switzerland has reported that over 1200 large and medium size American companies have move to Zug just outside of Zurich since 2008, and the list goes on and on.

 

Senator Chris Dodd has bought a home in Ireland to avoid taxes on his congressional retirement, as have many other companies and wealthy investors who have taken advantage of Ireland’s favorable tax laws. Belize is another landing zone for many American Corporations, and, of coarse, the Bahamas is probably still number one.

 

Now, the latest trend is the middle class is moving offshore to chase the professional jobs that are hemorrhaging from American outsourcing. The TheLadders, a website for high paid executives, advertises jobs throughout the entire world and executives are leaving America to cash in on the outsourced job market. Many are finding the lifestyle much more relaxed and although the salaries are less the cost of living is also less and the after tax cash in hand is far more. Wake up Congress, America is moving to greener fairly taxed pastures.
