The latest talk in the financial press is the new “Volker Rule” which will try to set new rules for the mega investment banks that unraveled in the economic crisis. The Volker Rule will attempt to stop these Mega banks from using their Federal Reserve god given right to create money, so that they can speculate with their own proprietary trading portfolio. This allows the mega banks to manipulate the Stock Markets and to squeeze out all the Equity that private and institutional investors rely on to fund their retirement obligations.
You see in the past there were laws to stop insider trading but the game has now changed. With intricate computer modeled programs the huge money investors like investment banks do not now need to collude with other investors but can control the market all by themselves. Of course, Bernanke, Geithner, and Summers who control the regulation for the Obama Administration are Federal Reserve insiders and are beholden to the mega banks, who own the Federal Reserve, and will not allow any regulation of this banking monopoly.
Like the gambling casinos in Vegas the house doesn’t pay true odds so the game is fixed against any of the players. Investing money in stocks and bonds is a fool’s game and you will lose all your equity: it’s mathematically guaranteed.

Just like when WalMart moves into a community it immediately destroys most, if not all, of the thriving businesses in that area because they can’t compete with the foreign supply offered by WalMart, Home Depot, or Sams Club. Either everyone lowers their prices, their wages, and their employee benefits to compete with the foreign suppliers or they close up shop and layoff all their employees. What happens locally also happens nationally. America will have to rethink their trade policies or start growing rice in the back yard.

NATIONAL DEFENSE OR NOT FOR EVERGREEN COLORADO REAL ESTATE
Should our economic prosperity be considered part of our national defense? Should we be solvent enough to pay our soldiers and equip them with all that they need to perform at the highest level possible? If we need to protect our economic base from out sourcing and a domestic illegal work force, then shouldn’t we do whatever it takes to protect our economic resources? My answer is an unqualified yes.
The reason the old Soviet Union fell is because their defense spending bankrupted them. I don’t know why the same can’t happen to the US if we continue to spend ourselves into oblivion, and are unable to support out troops. “To provide for the National Defense” is one of the major reasons given in the Constitution for establishing our Federal Government. England would have lost WWII if America did not give her the Lend-Lease program; Britain would have gone broke and lost the means to defend herself against Nazi aggression. It’s time to get serious about defending America and American jobs from foreign governments.

COMMON SENSE AND SUPPLY SIDE ECONOMICS FOR REAL ESTATE EVERGREEN COLORADO
The perennial debate is over whether we tax and spend ourselves in to prosperity or cut taxes and let the market demand generate the jobs and the prosperity we all need to succeed. Whenever I am faced with a question like this I try to reduce it down to the bare essentials because I know that truth is truth no matter how big or how small the problem.
Looking at the smaller picture I perceive that if my job prospects were overwhelming and my income was doubled or even triple I would be spending more money and consuming more goods and services. This, of course, would stimulate the economy in a natural way and create jobs and prosperity for everyone else in my community.
So, it would seem to me that what we need is more demand for our job skills, more demand for the products and the services that we produce in our local area, more demand for the basics of life like food and shelter, and more demand for luxury items that give life that added spice. Taxing away all the available money in my community, then borrowing more so that you can spend more, and sending the mortgage payment book to my kids and me doesn’t seem to be the wise and prudent thing to do. And you know what? It is not working.
