America stumbled into a different kind of imperialism based on military alignment and protection, and economic and technological superiority. Our American Imperialism lasted much longer since we didn’t enslave the people and tried to establish freedom and democracy in other countries.

The world, however, is changing and America is no longer technologically superior to these other nations. They have founded their own education and university systems and have usurped the leading roll in global research and development. American colleges and universities are dumbing down the intelligence of the graduates while other countries are tightening qualifications and demanding critical thinking skills and fact based curriculum. These countries are now surpassing the US in manufacturing, software design and application, engineering, accounting, backend business services, shipping, packaging, advertising, etc. Japan, China, India, Russia, Israel, Ireland, South Africa, South Korea and others are providing superior products for less that one-third the cost.

All the major international corporations are hiring foreign graduates who are analytically and technologically superior to politically correct American graduates. American students are educated out of their natural intelligence and common sense.

If the US doesn’t wise up soon we will become the economic colony of the new global superstars. The world is changing and we need to change with it. I don’t see any national discourse on the new global market place and what Americas roll will or should be. We are blinded by our own arrogance and unable to admit the world is quickly passing us by.
