REGULATION BY BUREAUCRATS IS ALWAYS A DISASTER FOR REAL ESTATE EVERGREEN COLORADO
The State of Colorado and HUD have tried to regulate the small mortgage companies ever since the housing bubble burst. Every effort has been a miserable failure. One of the main reasons is that bureaucrats, who are appointed by the politicians in power, haven’t got a clue about what the mortgage business is all about. The state has succeeded in eliminating almost 2/3 of the state licensed mortgage brokers through exorbitant fees and useless insurances underwritten by their campaign contributors.
In an unabashed campaign contribution payoff scheme, the state legislature has exonerated the banking industry from any of the new rules and insurances. As every casual observer knows the mortgage melt down was cause by the large banks who created these toxic mortgage backed securities, AIG insured them, and they poisoned the global investment markets with poorly underwritten FANNIE and FREDDIE mortgages. The local mortgage company had nothing – nothing to do with the mortgage crisis. It was JP Morgan, Countrywide, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Washington Mutual, Indy Bank and the like who destroyed our housing industry. These are the very people that the state has exempted from any of the new rules and regulations. The state’s only accomplishment is to eliminate the local competition by rule and regulating them out of business while the guilty large banks are raising their fees and ripping off the public.
It’s time to start to unravel all these government “feel good” laws and roll the government monolith back to a manageable and affordable size.

COLORADO STATE LEGISLATURE DEFYING THE SUPREME COURT IN AN ALL OUT EFFORT TO KILL 4000 STATE JOBS
The Supreme Court has ruled that any out of state individual or company is not required to collect state sale taxes for the Colorado government. The only way is if they have a state affiliate who then the state could require to collect the tax. So when the state passed a bill to collect sales taxes for internet sale the big online vendors like Amazon fired all their Colorado State affiliated: putting them out of business. Thanks Governor Ritter and the Colorado State legislators. The loss of the Amazon affiliates alone is projected to cost Colorado 4200 jobs. Wouldn’t it be wised for the State to cut spending?
It is time that the state realized that if they do not reform the way all governments do business, from the local up to the federal, then we will never recover to the point where we can foolishly and wantonly squander money like we did before the 2006 banking crash. But there are no candidates on the horizon who have a clue about how to revive our economic fortunes; so the state must cut to the bone and start to unravel the state government bureaucracy.

IT’S TIME FOR THE STATES TO WITHDRAW FROM THE FAILURES OF THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT
It’s about time the State of Colorado realized the obvious truth that there are no longer any solutions to society’s problems at the federal level. The health care debate has brought the failures of the federal government into sharp focus. The only way Coloradans can have public health care, that is reasonable and fair, is if we start our own Bank of Colorado and use the interest to fund our health care.
And not only health care but we must take back our education from the failing federal system, take back our taxes and refuse to send money to Washington for anything except what is expressly defines in the Constitution and nothing more, take back the gas tax and fix our roads and infra structure, take back our own immigration employment enforcement, take bake our own trade policy, put a stop to out sourcing our income, and start to renounce any deficits the feds have wantonly created – refusing to obligate our children and grandchildren with massive debt.
Huge monolithic governments have always failed. The old Soviet Union fell, China before capitalism failed, Cuba failed, the European model is failing, and Federalist America is failing too. Our founding Fathers were correct in limiting the Federal Government; we must return to the wisdom of the ages or be swept away like all the other failed centralized oligarchies.
